Christine Connor RGN, Bsc (Hons) SCPHN (OH)
Christine is a Specialist Occupational Health Nurse with both Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registrations. She is a member of the society of occupational medicine.
Christine qualified with a 1st class honours degree in Nursing from the University of Ulster in 2006 and initially worked in the acute sector specialising in orthopaedics and acute brain injury rehabilitation. Driven by her desire to move into the field of public health she qualified as a health visitor in 2009 and then later trained as a specialist Occupational Health Nurse after successfully completing a Post- Graduate diploma in Occupational Health at the University of West Scotland.
Christine also gained invaluable experience working as a disability assessor carrying out functional work capability assessments and completing specialist medical reports on behalf of the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and Northern Ireland Social Security Agency (NISSA). She continues to use her extensive knowledge and expertise to assist companies to manage sickness absence, ensure staff are fit for work and improve overall business productivity. She has worked in a variety of settings, across many different industries within both the private and public sectors. She is passionate about health & wellbeing and believes that people are at the heart of every business.
